Terms & Conditions of Bookings (Self-Catering)

Rates. Prices quoted are inclusive of heat & light, bedding and towels. There are no additional taxes or service charges (other than for personal laundry - £8 per load). In exceptional cases, there may be charges for cleaning or breakages (see below).

Payment When making a reservation, we ask for payment of the full amount. You can telephone and pay by card, or make a BACS payment using the details we send you. We normally request payment within 48 hours of making your reservation but may extend this to 7 days for a postal payment by cheque, provided you are booking more than 30 days in advance.

Confirmation.Unless you are booking at very short notice, we will always confirm a reservation in writing, by letter or email.

Cancellation (30 days notice).Should you find you need to cancel your booking, we will refund your full payment less a £10 administration charge, provided you give 30 days or more notice.

Cancellation (short notice). If you cancel less than 30 days before arrival, we will try our best to re-let the accommodation and refund as much of your payment as we can. For example, if you have booked six nights and we only manage to re-let 5 nights, we will refund the difference, less £10. We recommend that you obtain insurance for costs that may arise should your circumstances change and you require to cancel your trip.

Refunds. We will normally make a refund by the same method as the original payment.

Arrival/Departure. Guests may arrive between 4pm and 8pm or at other times by arrangement. Guests must vacate by 10am on the day of departure.

Housekeeping. Guests should make reasonable efforts to leave the accommodation as they find it. A charge may be made if the apartment or contents require an unreasonable level of attention in this regard.

Breakages. Guests should report any breakages in order that replacements may be provided. There is normally no charge for items accidentally broken, but we reserve the right to make a charge in cases of deliberate misuse or negligence.

Pets. Guests may not bring pets into the apartment.

Smoking. The premises are non-smoking throughout.
